A Structured Path to Applied AI

Our model combines online project-based learning with MIT xPRO courses, expert mentorship, and in-person experiences — all structured around five AI+X concentrations that evaluate what you can actually do.

MODULE 1

AI Foundations

Every AI+X learner starts with a strong AI Foundation — either through an MIT xPRO course, a BlendED MasterSeries program, or an approved Foundations project. This shared grounding layer ensures you have the core skills to succeed in any concentration.

Every summer and winter, AI+X learners are invited to Kendall Square — home to MIT — for 2+ weeks of in-person experiences.

 

This is a chance to showcase your portfolio, get feedback from mentors, visit research labs, and build lasting friendships with your global cohort. The on-campus experience is optional and not a core credential — it's an amplification layer.
